German is a 5th year graduate student at Scripps Institution of Oceanography, University of California San Diego, working with Peter Shearer and Frank Vernon. His main interests are the physics of earthquakes and time series analysis. Other interests include inverse theory and error analysis. He is a citizen of Columbia and holds a Geology degree from the National University in Bogota, Colombia (1997-2002). He started his Ph.D. studies at UCSD in 2002.
