Benjamin Weiss is conducting paleomagnetic studies on terrestrial and extraterrestrial rocks to understand the early evolution of the terrestrial planets, geomagnetism, and life. He is Victor P. Starr Assistant Professor of Planetary Sciences in the Department of Earth, Atmospheric, and Planetary Sciences at MIT.
