Research
2000-2001: Conducted research on Radiometric tracers (Pb210, Cs137, Ra226, K40, Bi214, Pb214) in 2 cores of Modern Sediment from Pamlico Sound,NC under Larry K. Benninger of UNC-Chapel Hill. Attempted to determine net effect of sediment redistribution at Neuse River Estuary mouth due to Hurricanes Floyd, Dennis, Fran, and Irene between 1990 and 2000. 

2000: Conducted independent research in Italy on the building stones used in Italian Architecture in Venice, Florence, Rome, and Sicily.

1999: Conducted research on geomorphologic and sea level history of Eleuthra, Bahamas under A.Conrad Neumann of UNC-Chapel Hill.

1996: Conducted Research in Central Oregon on Geomorphology of Sutton Mountain Region, specifically dating pediment surfaces through Calcium carbonate quantification and soil analysis. Research submiitted to Westinghouse Science Talent Composition.
