Jorge Sarmiento, Professor of Geosciences and Director of the Program in Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences, has written a new book, Ocean Biogeochemical Dynamics*, published by Princeton University Press. His research efforts are in the areas of ocean biogeochemical processes and modeling, constraints on carbon sinks, and Southern Ocean circulation and biogeochemistry.
