Information for potential graduate students and postdoctoral fellows

Our laboratory offers graduate students and postdoctoral fellows the opportunity to do studies of the carbon cycle and paleoclimate in a productive and supportive environment. Two technicians do both routine and innovative analyses, and maintain the equipment and data systems. Automated inlet lines, and expertise in automation, allow scientists to work efficiently in the lab and free up time for data analysis and other activities. Geochemists/environmental scientists at Princeton are part of a large, interactive community that offers excellent possibilities for collaboration, including work with a large modeling group associated with the Geosciences Department and the NOAA Geophysical Fluid Dynamics Laboratory. Princeton focuses on education and is committed to the effective training and mentoring of graduate students and postdocs within the research group, the department, and the broader environmental sciences community.
