Micro- Raman Spectroscopy
Our confocal micro-Raman spectroscopy system is designed for in situ high-pressure work as well as for studies at ambient conditions. The main components of this system are a diode pumped soild state laser (DPSS), air-cooled CCD detector (Princeton Instruments), spectrometer, and holographic optics.

In-Situ Laser Heating
Our laboratory is equipped to perform in-situ laser heating experiments under high pressure conditions to mimic the conditions prevalent within the Earth and other planets. Temperatures upto 6000 K can be accessed using this method.
